Access Log Tracking

For security and auditing purposes, we record your public IP address, User Agent string, and request details such as datetime, page URL, and method. These details are required to ensure the security and operation of this application. Historical data may be perserved for an undefined amount of time for auditing. This data is stored in both rich binary logs within the application and plain text logs on the server. Third parties are only provided this technical information as required for management, maintenance, and legal reasons for the application.

Malicious Traffic

All traffic is logged, and automatically parsed with internal tools for security incident tracking. When a substantial level of security attempts are detected, all traffic from the attacking IP address is blocked for an undefined amount of time.

Guest Policy and Tracking

Guest browsing is permitted and cookies are not used nor required for anonymous browsing. We do not track individual user sessions or specific devices for normal browsing. Guest Form Submissions Policy and Tracking

In order to validate and secure form submissions, a random session ID and cookie are created for guest users upon loading a submission form. This is a security requirement to prevent brute force and bot submissions of form data. Once a form is viewed, the cookie persists due to basic nature of web browsers, but will be automatically removed after a set time of inactivity.

Marketing and Analytics

This application utilizes third party analytics tracking via Google to gauge user engagement, search engine optimization possibilities, etc. You may opt-out of this tracking via use of privacy tools such as uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, and the like. We strongly encourage the use of these tools, not only on this application, but for all safe browsing habits. Advanced tracking features such as remarketing, display network impression, demographic, and personalized tracking are enabled to better determine browsing interest. Google provides an opt-out for such features and users are encouraged to browse there and select what features they want to allow Google to utilize.

Google Analytics Personalized advertising

Personalized advertising (formerly known as interest-based advertising) is a powerful tool that improves advertising relevance for users and increases ROI for advertisers. Because it works by employing online user data to target users with more relevant advertising content, it can provide an improved experience for users and advertisers alike.

We understand that when employing user behavior or interest data to provide more relevant ad content it’s important to handle that information appropriately and to consider how targeting users with certain content categories impacts their overall experience.

Based on the nature of personalized ads and the sensitivities associated with user ad targeting, we’ve identified policy standards for all Google features using personalized advertising functionality. These standards do not replace our other advertising policies (for example, for Google Ads or Shopping) and advertisers are still responsible for complying with all applicable advertising policies, in addition to Personalized advertising policies. Advertisers are also required to comply with our policies for European Union user consent, where applicable.

Our Personalized advertising policies represent a commitment to uphold the highest policy standards for both users and advertisers.
